Busy, Busy, Busy!!

As the flowers are being harvested, the dahlias are starting to bloom, showcasing their vibrant colors and intricate patterns. Let's delve into the fascinating world of dahlias and their blooming process.

What are Dahlias?

Dahlias are flowering plants that belong to the Asteraceae family, which also includes daisies and sunflowers. They are native to Mexico and Central America but are now cultivated worldwide for their stunning blooms. We are looking forward to the new varieties that we are growing here on the flower farm to come into bloom.

Stopping To Admire The Butterflies An Hummingbirds

I took some of the one day off, I was just really tired and I took my chair outside and enjoyed the beautiful butterflies an hummingbirds that come to the flower farm to enjoy the nectar from the flowers. It was so relaxing to watch the butterflies sipping the nectar from the Turks Caps lilies and the butterflies were going crazy over the phlox that is in full bloom. I couldn't resist taking my camera out to capture nature frocking around the flower farm.
